CameronsDad
After what seems like an eternity pulling it all together we submitted and paid for my Visa Application yesterday. The initial auto generated email said 9-12 months wait time. We are in the process of submitting all of the evidence we have gathered, so the next week or two will be hectic I'm sure... I will keep tabs on things through this thread as things progress. Cheers
Wan2go
Hi @CameronsDad - can you stick your post with the others here http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/58449-summary-spouse-visa-processing-times-offshore-uk-please-add-your-stats.html Brilliant news if the wait time has shortened back to 9-12 months, instead of the 10-14 that some of us were told!! Maybe the rush to avoid the price rise just didn't happen...... Still, I'd best get a wriggle on and sell some stuff!!
cch
You never know, could be 10-14 for those that applied from July until February, then 9-12 for those after that point. I applied in August. FWIW, the processing times on the embassy site still state 10-14. http://www.uk.embassy.gov.au/lhlh/immi_processing_times.html Edited March 23, 2015 by cch
Wan2go
I was wondering if that was the case, but decided to be optimistic!!
CameronsDad
Thanks. I will post in there too.
cch
Well, if it said 9-12 in the letter, then that's the SLA that they're working to. Mine said 10-14 so it *was* updated with longer processing time at some point.
bobby122
As stated in another thread, I applied in December, and also received 9-12 months in the auto-generated email, but CO told me 10-14 months and to expect grant in December 2015. CollegeGirl
Sounds likely to be just a failure to update the auto-generated email.
